PROGRAMMES
Among the important programmes of the DCCI are:

• To enhance the capacity and capability of members to undertake business ventures and investment.
• To strengthen the DCCI through organisational development, networking and investment.
• To conduct policy analysis, legislation and other research and development activities on business opportunities.
• Strengthen linkages with the government and other Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
• To organise business conference, conventions and congress both for idea generation as well as business networking.
• To participate in trade missions.

ROLE AND FUNCTION

• ADVOCACY
  • To concuct advocacy activities on policy, legislation and programmes that are favourable to the enhancement of the participation of Dayak in commerce and industry. The DCCI will also act as spokesperson for the Dayak business community on matters of interest to them
• FACILITATOR
  • To facilitate networking among businessmen for mutual support, encouragement and mutual growth.
• RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT AND ADVISORY SERVICES
  • To assist in the undertaking of research and development for the purposes of advisory services to members of the Chamber.
• To conduct research on legislation and policy analysis for advocacy purposes.

MODUS OPERANDI
The daily operation of DCCI Secretariant is undertaken by the Executive Secretary, Operations Officer and one support Staff who is supported by various Chairmen of Portfolio Committees and Panel of Advisors on relevant matters.
