Qualifications
for membership
Any Dayak wishing to become a member of DCCI will have
to meet the following criteria:-
- The person will have to have a registered firm or business or company,
or
- Practices and operates a licensed profession registered in Malaysia.
Currently, there are over 220 members of DCCI from
all parts of Sarawak.

and Industry (DCCI)
- NETWORKING
- DCCI provides an ideal platform for the Dayak professional and
businessman to interact with others for business contacts and network
building especially among DCCI members who come from diverse disciplines
and are also members of other Chambers with the same objectives.
- PORTFOLIO COMMITTEES
- DCCI has 10 Portfolios Committees viz. finance, oil and gas/labour
supply, works, land & agriculture development, manufacturing,
retail trade, services, professionals, investment & business
development, and training & development. These committees work
on their respective portfolios for the benefits of members.

- DCCI's activities provides access to corporate leaders, top government
officials and ministers.

- TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
- Wherever and whenever possible, DCCI assists members on training
developments to improve their skills & prepare them to be more
competitive in order to be able to actively participate in business
operations.
- TRADE INFORMATION
- Members will have the opportunity to receive business information
disseminated by other Chambers or Associations.
- PUBLICATIONS
- Upon request, members can receive essential publications such
as newsletters, bulletins, etc. from DCCI, Sarawak Chamber of Commerce
& Industry (SCCI) and Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce
and Industry (MICCI).
- TRADE LIAISON
- DCCI liaises with the relevant authorities on matters relating
to trade, industries and commerce, by providing letters of introduction,
support and recommendations.
- LINK WITH OTHER CHAMBERS AND ASSOCIATIONS
- DCCI works closely with other Chambers and Associations viz. SCCI,
DUBS
- ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP
- DCCI is an Association member of SCCI which is in turn an affiliated
member of MICCI.
